Sister Jan Kilian | |
| I was born to George Kilian and Clara Valley Kilian on a farm in St. Augusta, Minnesota. With my brothers and sisters (Evan, Merle, Bob, Kathy and Danny,) I enjoyed a childhood immersed in our planet's gifts of fields, gardens, trees, open sky, a creek and lots of animals. |

Sister Joanne Klinnert
| My story can only be told by noting the people in my life and the places in which they influenced me. I begin, of course, with my parents, Martin and Lorraine (Mohs) Klinnert. Being their eldest, I made parents of this young couple who had together taken up farming and housekeeping--and now family-raising. My first memories are of the energetic, loving couple about whom Mom would recall, "We worked hard, had kids and enjoyed life." |

Sister Siena Wald | |
| Annella's childhood was full of fun and adventure on a Napoleon, North Dakota farm. One mischievous game she enjoyed with her brothers and sister was to climb to the top of the hay loft and throw eggs outside-then watch them splash as they hit the ground! She attended the Mannhein District No. 1 School in Napoleon. She has memories of her father taking her to a one room country school in a sleigh pulled by two white horses, sometimes in 30 degrees below zero. |

Sister Sister Antonia Rausch
| People throughout the world are actively promoting a one-world image. How can we rise above all the divisions with the human scene? How can we promote cultural and religious diversity as an ideal? How can we become involved in this movement toward a new consciousness? Can we become part of a worldwide dialogue process as a first step toward peace and inclusivity among our brothers and sisters, the stranger, the marginated, the "other"? |
