"Place your mind in the mirror of eternity, your soul in the splendor of glory, your heart in the figure of divine substance...transform your entire being into the image of the Divine..."

-Saint Clare of Assisi

Spiritual Journey

Conversion of heart is considered the cornerstone of the core Franciscan values. Simply stated, we always want to grow deeper into the mystery of God and the mystery of who we are in relationship to God and to all of creation. To this end, we offer a variety of opportunities, programs and events for spiritual growth. Whether it is a desire for solitary time at our Franciscan Life Center or quiet renewal time at Sabbath House, retreats and time alone allow us to attend to God's relationship with us and to more consciously respond to God's call to a deeper life.

Franciscan Life Center

The Franciscan Life Center, located at the Motherhouse in Little Falls, is a resource for directed retreats or spiritual direction for individuals or small groups. Through retreats, workshops, rituals and celebrations, we promote Franciscan spirituality which opens us to the God who continually seeks us. E-mail: franciscanlife@fslf.org

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, is a community of Catholic women religious who follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ, walking in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. We believe that the living of a poor, simple and prayerful community life is a ministry of presence and witness. Our doors are open to the public to celebrate Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel and to benefit from the St. Francis Music Center and St. Francis Health & Recreation Center. We welcome those who wish to join us as sisters, associates, volunteers, transfer sisters, friends and donors.
